January 18, Washington, D.C.: There was a time when I was a kid when I thought my mother would never really find happiness. I would be speaking out of turn to say that she once felt the same, but I will do it anyway. I guess I felt that way until about October 14, 1995. Thats when she remarried. Life had a great way of working out for her in the end. For years now, I have seen how happy she is. Its a stark contrast to what I observed growing up, but I am so glad that she found a person and a life that makes her happy.
