November 16, Columbus, OH: The bench caught my eye right away. Not so desirable in its current condition. But I could easily see that it might be gorgeous in the right hands. Maybe its beauty is just beneath that layer of nasty, flaky paint barely clinging to the wood. Some time, a little effort, a fresh coat of paint and it could be better than brand new. There must be some human equivalent of sandpaper and Rust-o-Leum.
