December 26, Baltimore, MD: I had a conversation with some high school friends about marriage, relationships, children...and the fact that many of our Black high school friends have dated non-Black women. I have been asked about the fact that most of the women I have dated were not Black. In the past, I have thought about what drove that, and I felt that it was driven primarily by where I'd lived, attended school, and worked. Tonight's conversation has encouraged me to revisit some of those conclusions. Or at least think about whether other factors are in play.
