August 15, San Mateo, CA: Took it easy today. Very easy. I was up way too late messing around with some huge picture files and finally gave in at 4am. I did walk out to the street to catch the last half of the county fair fireworks display, though. I get nervous that I can sometimes be too sedentary for the people that spend time with me. I just like to stay at home and do nothing sometimes, but that isn't everyone's idea of fun. But we have all kinds of plans for tomorrow, so I hope that creates the balance I need and the balance she wants.
